Since I am managing some websites which are community-based (which means that I am not the sole creator of content), I need to be updated daily on what is happening in each of these sites. I was thinking along the line of an RSS to email service, and I've found two promising candidates: Nourish and FeedBlitz. I'm more interested in Feedblitz because they have this "Subscribe to any Blog by Mail, IM or Twitter!" feature which allows you to subscribe to an RSS feed of a site even if the site itself does not have FeedBlitz.
This is perfect for my need, I told myself. Now I need not go to the Cebuano Wikipedia everyday; I could just subscribe to its RSS feed through email. But when I entered my email islesv@gmail.com, this is what I got:
I wonder what's wrong with islesv@gmail.com. And it is not the image verification test which caused the error, since I purposely failed it the second time and they gave me a different message. Well, on the third try the subscription passed through, so let us just blame it on the unpredictability of electrons. :-)
Never happened to me! Google Reader is better compared to any other candidates out there... At least if something goes wrong, you can be rest assured that things would be fixed in hours...
I switched back to my BlogLines service :)
