LawPhil.net and ChanRobles.com are online resources for Philippine legal materials, such as statutes and jurisprudence. While ChanRobles.com seems to be the first on the Net, LawPhil.net is now the de facto standard for research. (Okay, I'm working on a system which I hope will be the de facto standard by 2013 :D)
ChanRobles.com includes text "watermarks" on its pages to discourage would-be copiers. It is very easy to defeat though, since a simple search-and-replace operation on "chan robles virtual law library" (replace it with an empty string) will solve the problem.
Just for the fun of it, I Googled "chan robles virtual law library site:http://lawphil.net". What a surprise: there was one page at LawPhil.net where the ChanRobles.com text mark appears.
The full URL of the page is http://www.lawphil.net/statutes/repacts/ra2004/ra_9323_2004.html. Here is a copy of that page a few minutes before I posted this (click for higher resolution):
You can also see a WebCite version here, just in case you think I photoshopped the picture.
Incidentally, the law (RA 9323) deals with the reclassification of a parcel of timberland in Barangay Atabay, Hilongos, Leyte, where my girlfriend hails from.
